Festival International de Louisiane

Keb Mo

Louisiana is defined by great music and food. And, they know how to party.
This week, the Festival International de Louisiane celebrates the French cultural heritage of southern Louisiana in a gumbo of European, African, Caribbean and Hispanic influences.
For five days you can travel through FREE live performances of music and art. Highlights include: headliner Keb’ Mo’ who reinterprets the Delta Blues; Balkan Beat Box mix hypnotic trance with a dancehall beat; the psychedelic cumbia of Colombia’s Bomba Estereo; and you can’t leave without getting to know the Indian brass funk of Red Baraat.
