Synaesthesia takes place at MONA — Museum of Old and New Art and features a two-day festival of music, feasting & drinking, and up-close encounters with a truly diverse and arresting array of musical talent with +120 artists.

  • Over the course of 36 performances, scattered throughout the museum, you’ll encounter classical, contemporary, cabaret and pop; with original numbers, commissioned works, and encounters with the masters — like Messiaen, Ligeti, and Mussorgsky. You also get:

    • Discussion panel of scientists, synaesthetes and musicians
    • Lighting by master designer John Rayment
