Festival Description

Rumpus, London’s biggest, shiniest and favouritest indoor festival is stepping out the front door and setting off on a Rather Big Adventure to the magical vaults of The Coronet, SE1. Rumours abound of a mystical river far to the South, beyond which there be Elephants and Castles! Rumpus has donned his pith helmet, packed a compass and is all set to take you on the greatest adventure that there ever was, all in search of the fabled Dia De Las Criaturas Muertas. This is one adventure you don’t want to miss! Forget the mud, leave the wellies at home and come explore the 11 strange and wonderful lands as we go on A Rather Big Adventure!

Founded on an ideal of artistic self-expression celebrating a vast array of party inducing genres, the Rumpus lineups offer a smorgasbord of content across seven filled-to-the-brim rooms, from samba to Balkan Beats; electro-swing to dubstep, with a dabble of drum n bass thrown in for good measure! The swirling mix of musical styles, combined with circus acts, cabaret, impromptu performance art, extreme body art and walkabout acts, lifts Rumpus from a Friday night party-fare to a labyrinth style mini festival. Growing from word-of-mouth, ear to the ground beginnings; Rumpus has whirled its way into the heart of London’s underground nightlife.
