Highlights 2013:
  • We’ve got something for everyone including swimming with piranhas with David Almond, zombies with Charlie Higson and fairy detective agencies with Sally Gardner. There are workshops galore for children both big and small on such varied topics as E-writing, monster-making and comic book creating, as well as opportunities to learn from artists including this year’s cover image creator Emily Gravett. There will be fascinating discussions about whether there’s enough literature in translation for UK children and about writing for young people today. And, perhaps most importantly, you can learn why you should never wipe your bum with a hedgehog!
