Festival Description

The 2010 International Children’s Art Festival will celebrate its 40th season at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts. Performances, activities and workshops will take place at multiple locations at wolf Trap. This year international performers and artists from China, Ghana, Finland, and Jordan will taking part. The performances from these countries will be by children who have been trained in the performing arts schools of their respective countries. More than 300 local and regional performers will display their talents. In addition to the performances from an diverse cultures and countries, participants at the Children’s Festival will have an opportunity for interaction with the participants and can take part in hands-on activities. To add to the festivities buskers, will be on the grounds throughout the weekend. These roaming entertainers include jugglers, stilt-walkers and clowns.
