Festival Description

FRICTION International Performance Art Festival takes place in public spaces in Uppsala city at Uppsala Art Museum, Uppsala Concert and Congress Hall, Konsthuset, Uppsala Artist Club — Åhuset. The host organizations, Uppsala konstmuseum and SU-EN Butoh Company/Mon no Kai produce the festival every two years since 2006. The programing includes cutting edge performance art of unique encounters and creations by international artists.
