Festival Description

The organizers of Big Break festival bring together the best examples of productions for young audiences both from Russia and abroad. Festival productions are meant for school-children of different age groups. Another important objective is to create a debating forum for discussing the key issues of theatre for young audiences in Russia today, involving major Russian and international experts in this sphere. Ultimately the festival strives to improve the situation in theatre for children as a tool of aesthetic education in Russia.

Festival Story:

The Big Break Festival of Theatre for Children was launched in 2007 on the initiative of Praktika theatre. It has become an annual event presenting 45-60 performances of various genres from Russia and abroad on different Moscow venues.
