Festival Description

Macedonian theater festival “Vojdan Chernodrinski” was founded in 1965 at the initiative of the Drama Artists Association of the Republic of Macedonia. The Festival is named after the founder of Macedonian drama, Vojdan Chernodrinski, a drama author, actor, manager and producer of theater performances. The Festival has been organized traditionally in Prilep at the beginning of June. The very first performance was presented on the 4th of June in 1965.

The best Macedonian theater productions are presented at the festival. The festival runs a competition both in ON and OFF program.
