Festival Description

Founded 1994, the scope of the event has increased over time with additon of multiple stages. Established acts and new talent, as well as a variety of entertainment rounds out a rich and diverse program of events. T in the Park is held at the Balado Activity Centre, near Kinross and holds the title of ‘Best Major UK Festival’.

T in the Park’s committment to making the festival as ecologically friendly as possible has been a collaborative effort. Working with an independent organization, The CarbonNeutral Company (http://www.carbonneutral.com/), the organizers have made T in the Park the world’s largest carbon neutral festival. The assessment of the carbon emmissions during the festival are monitored and calculated—this assessment keeps the organizers informed of the carbon footprint—that is offset by the funding of forestry projects in Scotland, Mexico, and Uganda. In addition, there will be a cup recycling program, educational screenings between gigs; fresh water refills for cups/bottles; battery re-energizing and recycling; and much more.

The forms of ID that will be accepted are:
    • UK Driving License
    • Valid Passport
    • Young Scot card
    • Citizen card
    • Portman Group card
