Assassination of Omar Rajeh

image001-3 Lebanese dance company Maqamat is premiering a new piece “The Assassination of Omar Rajeh”. Choreographed and directed by Omar Rajeh, the work explores assassination of journalists in Lebanon and attempts to kill hope for change. You can see it on November 7-8 at Tanzhaus in Dusseldorf. Mr. Rajeh also established the dance platform/festival BIPOD.

Her company is co-producing a performance of Juita-mai- a traditional japanese dance- and music style, featuring eminent dance mastress Yoh Izumo from Japan, as part of Sacred music Festival, Uppsala Consert House October. 30.
