Physically Integrated Dance Extravaganza

AXIS The San Francisco Bay Area will be treated to a series of dance performances by a host of cutting-edge companies for three weeks in May. AXIS Dance Company, Compañía Y, Dandelion Dancetheater and Mayday Dance Company will perform new physically integrated dance works from May 9-24th at CELLspace and Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Forum.

Storytellers Theatre Company

storyteller The Irish company Storytellers Theatre is touring a new adaptation of Henry James’s The Turn of the Screw. You can see this chilling tale April 25 & 26 at Hawks Well Theatre in Sligo, Ireland and at several other tour venues through May 10th.

Armitage Gone! Dance

armitageDancer and choreographer Karole Armiitage’s group Armitage Gone! Dance will make it’s Chicago debut at The Dance Center of Columbia College, April 17th- 19th. The program will include ‘Ligeti Essays’, a suite of concise jewel-like movements choreographed to music by the Hungarian composer.

The Chimera Project
