BAM Next Wave Festival

Phantom Limb

Sooner or later, all the world comes to Brooklyn. Don’t believe us? Then check out the BAM Next Wave Festival, where Manhattan glamour meets international avant-garde.
This year’s highlights of international masters and emerging artists include John Malkovich who will unnerve you with his role in The Infernal Comedy: Confessions of a Serial Killer. Want to get inside Malkovich’s head? He’ll also be giving an artist talk about playing an Austrian murderer.
BAM will be the last scheduled performance of the Merce Cunningham Dance Company before it disbands, while Beijing Dance Theater led by Wang Yuanyuan explores the complexities of China’s future in Haze.
69°S is the threshold of Antarctica where Phantom Limb manipulate puppets and Skeleton Key performs live in this tale of survival at the end of the earth.
