Marcus Youssef: Winners and Losers

Winners and LosersTheatre artists and long-time friends Marcus Youssef (Neworld Theatre) and James Long (Theatre Replacement) sit at a table and play a game they made up, called winners and losers. In it, they name people, places or things — Pam Anderson, microwave ovens, their fathers, Goldman Sachs, Mexico, etc. — and debate whether they are winners or losers. Winners and Losers is a conversation that embraces the ruthless logic of capitalism, and tests its impact on our closest personal relationships, and our most intimate experiences of self.

In this podcast we talk with Marcus Youssef about this deft production which plays at the PuSh Festival January 30 - February 2.
