Roberto López: Jazz Reimagined

Musician and composer Roberto López spearheads the Roberto López Project, a Montreal-based polycultural orchestra that explores the world of Afro-Colombian music laced with urban hip-hop, jazz and electronica. They have performed at numerous festivals including Montreal Jazz Festival, Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival and will be performing at the 2011 TD Sunfest.

In this interview Roberto talks with us about his jazz training, the formation of the ensemble, and his new instrumental orchestra.
