  EKON ARTS FESTIVAL Strategic Fundraiser
« on: March 06, 2011, 09:25:45 PM » by Ekon Arts
Ekon Arts Festival requires a Fundraising Manager for its London branch

The organisation presents every year the Festival of Kontemporary Sound & Performing Arts that was set up to explore a whole new range of artistic possibilities across different art forms and to help develop partnerships among artists and audiences.

The successful candidate will work with a dedicated team for an organisation committed to exploring ways in which different art forms open a dialogue with one another across cultures. The festival's events range from dance theatre to multimedia performance, from cabaret to shadow theatre, from experimental sounds to popular instrumentals, from electronics to installation.

This is a demanding, challenging and exciting role, requiring a creative individual with highly developed communication skills. You should have the ability to convince and influence others to support our work, by building and maintaining relationships with new and current funders.

In addition, you will be responsible for managing and developing the Fundraising strategy and thereby ensure the continuing work for Ekon Arts Festival for the London Olympic Games 2012.

Applicants are required to have previous experience of fundraising at a senior level.

This is a paid, part-time post. Salary will be discussed according to qualifications.

Please send a covering letter and a CV to submissions@ekon.org.uk

Closing date for applications: 1 April 2011
