Novi Sad is probably best known for the Exit Festival, with its dance stages set amidst the amazing Petrovaradin Fortress. The rest of this city also deserves your attention. A lovely pedestrian zone in the downtown area is a relaxing way to spend an afternoon before heading over to the festival. Or head to the Štrand and lay down your towel on the banks of the Danube River.
