There are so many great panels and performances at the PEN World Voices Festival of International Literature that you might not see the myriad other great happenings that take place in conjunction with the festival. One of the brilliant programs this year is A Citywide Reading: Food for Thought, Food for the Palate. These are site-specific readings curated by PEN, and each reading is accompanied with a culinary experience. Memory in Harlem brings several writers to the Schomburg Center to read from work that explores the nature and spirit of memory.
