Festival Description | This daylong musical feedback workshop has accepted 12 writing teams who will share works in progress and get feedback from a panel of expert evaluators, focusing on two main components of the first act: the “I Want” song to establish the leading character, and the Turnaround Song near the end of the act. Audience members will also have a chance to offer their observations, participate in network sessions and enjoy refreshments. |

Facilitator’s panel 2013:
- The experienced panel of commercial producers and writers will include producer Michael Alden (Bat Boy, Grey Gardens, The King’s Speech on stage), composer Mark Hollman (Urinetown), producer Tom Polum (The Toxic Avenger, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), writer William Squier (The Treatment of Doctor Love, Route 66), producer Peter Schneider (The Lion King, Aida); and others. Bob Ost, executive director of Theater Resources Unlimited, will facilitate.
