Featured artists 2013:
  • POLISH AMBASSADOR featuring Ayla Nereo
    • Born on the richly-colored streets of Chicago and San Francisco, the Ambassador is a favorite amongst festival curators and beat aficionados worldwide. Over the course of 6 years, his sound has dipped and swirled through a staggering range of styles, with each album exploring uncharted sonic territory. Warm, analogue dreamwave; mind-altering glitch; world-infused groove; bass-fueled breaks; sexified down-tempo; electric lullabies; and psy-fi funk are just a few of the genres that have poured from the Ambassador’s soul into earbuds and ghetto-blasters across the galaxy.
    • Christian Bauhofer, known by his fans as his party crushing alter ego Minnesota, tracks are heard in dubstep/glitch sets all over the world, including those from DJs Reid Speed, Marty Party, Blackheart, and Rastatronics, to name a few. His latest and greatest remix of “California Dreamin’” by the Mamas & the Papas has been getting tons of play — most notably by dubstep trailblazer Bassnectar a.k.a. Lorin Ashton, on his current U.S. tour. “My goal is to make bass-heavy dubstep/glitch-hop music that’ll get you dancing, but is not the same old, three-note transformer-step,” Bauhofer says.
    • Seizing upon the cultural zeitgeist overtaking the North American music scene of the moment known as American bass music or post-dubstep, Denver’s DJ/producer VibeSquaD is at the forefront of this explosion combining a blistering fusion of glitchy EDM, hip-hop and loads of funk. “I am dedicated to making music that vibrates positivity, love and light…with ridiculous amounts of bass and a nasty-ass beat, of course!” For VibeSquaD, the time to shine has truly arrived.
