Festival Description

Since the first festival in 2010 the Rootwire has taken place as an annual festival of music, visual arts, workshops and presentations, ceremonies, installations and more. The festival is produced by the nationally-touring electronic/rock syndicate Papadosio.

Known for their mindful and transcendent music — Papadosio — the band regularly tours the midwest. The road experiences led them to take the best ideas and to understand the failures that can happen at festivals. The knowledge they have gained inspired Rootwire. The festival seeks to transform the music festival experience model to create an idealized gathering of artists and attendees. Rootwire is an arts, music and spiritual event where nature and culture come together to create powerful memories for community and healing!
