| Festival Description | Taking place at the beautiful Boughton House in Kettering, Northamptonshire, Alt Fest is going to be the UK’s first truly major outdoor festival celebrating alternative culture, art, music and lifestyles. Alt Fest is set to make history when it becomes the first festival to not only be funded by its fans but that asks its fans how they want the money raised to be spent to create a festival for the fans by the fans. The fan-based driven crowd-funding platform on Kickstarter makes Alt Fest a unique festival campaign. Alt Fest signifies a revolution in the festival industry. It is no longer acceptable for festivals to be created by big corporate entities for the benefit of everyone apart from the people who pay, the fans. The team behind Alt Fest aim to make a real change in how festivals are created by giving the power back to the fans once and for all. The brainchild of Dom and Missy, the founders of Club AntiChrist, Alt Fest is the future of the major outdoor festival. |
