Festival Description	Oulunsalo Music Festival is organized in the first week of August every year and has rapidly established a reputation as a unifying cultural event for the entire Oulu region. About 25 concerts are arranged each summer, with concert venues spread across all ten municipal districts of the region. Commissioned and environmental works are an important element in the program, as are the visual art events that take place during the festival period. Besides conventional concert halls, other favored music venues include the old churches and manor houses of the region.
