The festival workshops and master classes are conducted by the participating artists. The initiative serves to encourage the broader community to come together to perform and network for the arts and peace. The programming features performances and workshops that center on storytelling and discussion sessions.

The region widely known for its conflicts is an ideal platform for working towards and promoting tolerance. The festival’s artistic director, Wesley Ruzibiza is from the Amizero Dance Kompoanie. Entrance is free.
