Festival Description

Global Citizen Festival is taking a serious stand against global poverty and are taking their initiative directly to music fans. The free festival is offering tickets by lottery to potential attendees by their gaining points through donations and educating themselves on the subject. The unique platform for encouraging involvement in the cause reaches out to tech-savy music fans through an app designed by Gobal Citizen.

The Central Park location is a public space that only allows free events — and offers the festival a high profile venue to address global poverty. The event is funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and is organized by Goldenvoice/AEG (behind Coachella and other legendary festivals) and Global Poverty Project who have teamed up to produce the event. The lineup features an all-star lineup music of legends that will be sure to rock the Park!
