Festival Description | The one day jazz festival takes place in Lowell behind the Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell. The Merrimack River forms the lovely backdrop to the Merrimack Valley Jazz Festival that features a range of performers that include big bands as well as small ensembles on two stages. Festival attendees can enjoy great food and beverages provided by local establishments. Children can get in on the fun with face painters, balloon sculptors, dance performances and more. On friday night the festival kick-off concert gets the festivities rolling at the Sampas Pavilion. |
