| Festival Description | The music days, initiated in 1988, introduce the main tendencies of the 20th century music history, focusing on modernism and its aesthetic and philosophical principles through concerts, performances, lectures and discussions. The event connects different forms of art, philosophy and literature theory and practice. The music days are held in Pärnu every other year, alternating with the ones in Tartu. The Festival is organised by the Estonian Arnold Schoenberg Association and the Pärnu Concert Agency, its Artistic Director is a young composer Märt-Matis Lill, President of the Association. The Chief Producers are composer Andrus Kallastu inPärnu and composer Mart Jaanson in Tartu. |
