| Festival Description | Since 1999 the annual literary festival has drawn bibiophiles to Auckland to share in their love of books and reading through the literary promotional events. National and international writers take part in the events that bring writers and readers together to enhance the relationship on both fronts. The events include a school program to promote literacy among the youth, in addition to readings among authors and poets, workshops, and free events. |
