| Festival Description | Knarr Holmen is a small island in the Gothenburg archipelago that is only 12 minutes away via one of Västtrafiks ferries from Saltholmen. What makes Knarr Holmen the perfect venue for a festival is the size of the island, its stunning scenery and proximity to downtown, but also the opportunity of cottage accommodation for festival visitors who are tired of living in tents. Just north of where the ferry arrives at the big green and a sandy beach sits the new, larger festival site built with a stage, food/beer tent and everything else related to a festival. In the south, all the cottages with 64 apartments, all available for hire during the two nights of the festival is located. In the middle of the holiday village is the charming restaurant and kiosk, and it is here, amidst the lush forest that small stage will be located. The venue is close to both tent camping and cabins. Some of the island will be off limits — we urge everyone to respect the boundaries so that more festivals will be held at Knarr Holmen. |
