| Festival Description | The competitive music festival has taken place since 1980 by an organizing committee whose ranks include many dedicated volunteers. The adjudicators are professionals who offer feedback to the participating artists. The adjudicators for each field include musicians — piano, instrumental including strings and woodwinds, vocals, bands, as well as drama — musical theatre and speech arts. They lend their expertise and talents to make the festival as much a teaching event as well as a competition. The festival is open to anyone who would like to take part. There is no age limit and classes are open to all. |
