| Festival Description | 100 Pipers India Music Week takes place simultaneously in New Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore. The festival offers a range of musicians from India as well as international artists. There are a range of genres covered that include jazz big band, electronica, pop and rock, as well as ska, progressive, psy trance, blues and folk among others! In addition to the performances there is a music conference that offers a showcase platform for musicians from India. The conference happens in New Delhi and is restricted to Indian artists. The conference provides an opportunity to assist artists in gaining knowledge about the music industry and networking opportunities with music professionals from India and from around the world. The 100 Pipers India Music week was initiated and organized by Rock Street Journal Magazine, pioneers in the Independent Music scene in India since 1993. |
