Festival Story:
The Bork Havn Musikfestival is a very cheerful, small festival taking place every year. The Festival site is placed in the immediate neighbourhood of the small Bork harbour, a cosy fishing port in the Ringkoebing inlet. The festival is located at the “Stejlepladsen”, where the locals normally dry their fishing nets. During the festival days, the fishing nets are replaced by music, a fun fair, food stalls and happy people. The Bork Waterfront festival offers, as one of the few in Denmark, a dry weather guarantee; as all concerts take place in big tents! The big tent is the festival’s flagship featuring the big bands, so this is where people get thrilling experiences. “The Harbour Bar” is the tent with mixed types of music. Here the audience can enjoy a country evening, a dance evening, a disco evening and quiet afternoon concerts too. As its name implies “The Irish Tent” focuses all four days on Irish folk music and also hosts the children’s concerts. All tents have excellent acoustics, stage and light conditions, so only broken guitar strings, broken drumheads or worn vocal chords can reduce the total festival experience.Other Sources:
