| Festival Description | Pitchfork in partnership with NYC promoters The Bowery Presents and Kill Screen will produce the first Forms Festival in 2012. The four day multi-media events will take place in New York City's numerous venues. These venues for performances and shows will include museums, galleries, clubs and eclectic spaces throughout the boroughs of New York. Forms offers a platform for the showcasing of independent music, art, and gaming and to support and encourage the field in all its forms of creativity, independence, innovation, and interactivity. Forms will also bring in visual artists and game designers along with musicians to encompass the range of genres involved in the field. |
