World Stages London is organized by The British Council as part of the Cultural Olympiad 2012. The event is a collaboration among a select group of London’s leading theatres who together will create a series of outstanding theatre events that evoke the uniquely rich cultural mix of London. The theme will be ‘London in the World’ to bring to life the cultural melting pot of London and its importance in the world of art and especially theatre. The performances tell the stories of the people who have taken root in London from around the globe..
