Festival Description | Choreographer Ursula Verduzco founded the annual Latin Choreographers Festival in 2008. The festival showcases Latin choreographers with one non-Latin guest company or choreographer. The programming includes performances by national and international artists in contemporary ballet and contemporary dance pieces. The festival organizers seek out established dancers and rising talents in a range of Latin influences. Participants have included dancers and choreographers from Mexico, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Costa Rica, Spain and Ecuador. |
