  • For the third year, the Organizing Committee of the Festival Dédé Fortin is actively preparing for the presentation of the next edition of the event, which will take place from 6 to 8 June next at Normandin, Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean. Again this year, the main street of Normandin will turn the festival time, ready to welcome the feeder groups staged. Later, these musicians will be able to return to the places and say their half sweet that they got the chance to play! Fred Fortin, which well known Dédé Fortin, accepted with enthusiasm to be the godfather of this third edition. He will be accompanied by members of big Shiner, guitarist Olivier Langevin and drummer Pierre Fortin. The participation of these artists to the Festival Dédé Fortin will allow participants and festival-goers to hear ‘the sound of the Lake’ in all its singularity and its power. Fred Fortin and wholesale Minnow members may in turn share their experience with emerging groups eager to follow in their footsteps.
This year, the honorary Presidency of the Festival Dédé Fortin will be assumed by the owner of M.C.T. tires of Normandin, Robin Tremblay.
