Festival Description

Sónar São Paulo is designed as a large format event, which will combine day and night activities at Anhembi. The festival will feature 4 stages with different capacities, which together with the SonarMàtica exhibition area and SonarCinema will comprise a range of activities that is expected to attract over 50,000 spectators over three days. The details of the festival venue and dates will be announced in the coming weeks.

Sónar took place for the first time in São Paulo in 2004 when it brought together 24,000 visitors in its first foray into Latin America. Sónar São Paulo will be the largest festival organised by Advanced Music outside Spain, and the organisation’s most ambitious step in its international expansion. To that end, the Barcelona-based company is joining forces with the Brazilian producer Dream Factory, which is responsible for the creation of Rock in Rio in Rio de Janeiro, Madrid and Lisbon, and one of the most important groups in Latin America working in leisure and entertainment.
