Festival Description | The Annual Folk Festival on the Canal is a 2-day event will take place at the St-Ambroise Terrace, located behind the McAuslan Brewery (5080 St-Ambroise Street) along the historic Lachine Canal. The Folk Festival showcases some of the top names in Canadian folk, including local talent who will be heavily represented with some of the best in Montreal folk, roots and bluegrass music. In addition to the outdoor festivities on the main stage, there will be activities and music for children, as well as workshops for artists indoors at the Centre St-Ambroise. Plenty of food choices and beverages will be available throughout the weekend, including McAuslan Brewing’s award-winning St-Ambroise and Griffon beers. Festival goers will also have the opportunity to try the St-Ambroise Raspberry Ale, exclusively available on the St-Ambroise Terrace this summer. |
