| Festival Description | Ryan Taylor and Evan Harting, co-founders and organizers of the Maryland Deathfest celebrated the festivals inaugural edition in 2003. Annually they bring together an unparalleled group of legendary bands and rising talents in the death metal scene from the national and international arena. MDF showcases both new and old extreme music with an emphasis on diversity — death metal, grindcore, thrash, hardcore, black metal, and experimental bands from the world over. |
