Festival Description

The short play festival began in 1975 and is Manhattan's oldest continuous short play festival. National and international theater companies and schools participate in the competitive festival. Aspiring writers submit their works that involve the collaboration of the writer with the producing organization to produce the work. The collaborative process encourages the creative process that has produced many established and award-winning artists. Forty plays will be chosen for the 2009 edition of the festival.
