| Festival Description | The Festival no longer takes place. It was held in a huge purpose-built building the layout is the same as Skipton with a large stage and concert seating in front with tables and chairs to either side. Pickering is a very picturesque place, very old worldly and boasts a working Steam Railway which is run by volounteers. From Pickering there is easy access to the coast—Scarborough, Whitby and is also close to The Eden Camp which is a museum. Yorkshire Dales Promotion Ltd. also produced the Skipton Country & Music Festival in August. This festival also no longer takes place. For more information please visit |
