| Festival Description | The festival organizers have changed their name from Manethon Group to Manethon Foundation for Children and Puppet Theatre—the representative of the international association of theatre for children and young people "Assitej". The head of Manethon and Assitej Egypt, Mohamed Kareem, the festival founder says that after two editions of the festival Manethon Foundation has attracted many sponsors to support the festival. Manethon prepares for the 3rd edition of the festival which will held in two parts; the first part will held from February 21-28, 2009 and the second part will held from March 1-10, 2009. Each part is considered as two festivals which will take place in Cairo in ten theatres venues. |
