| Festival Description | El Festival de Los Danzantes has organized three days of cultural and folkloric dance conference/workshops featuring concerts and performers from throughout the state and Mexico at California State University, Fresno and two downtown Fresno locations. More than 600 dancers of all ages and ability are expected to attend the festival, which is open to the public. It is hosted by Los Danzantes de Aztlán, the student folkloric troupe in the Chicano and Latin American Studies Department at Fresno State. That department, the College of Social Sciences and Fajita Fiesta are major sponsors for the festival. The family-oriented event will include with concerts each night, workshops for those who register and merchandise and food vendors. |
