The exciting new group, Flamenco Por Derecho has announced the arrival of the very first summer Flamenco Cabaret to take place in Albuquerque! Recently there was a line nearly a block long wrapped around the perimeter of the El Rey Theater. All 250 table tickets had been sold-out 48 hours prior to the show opening and the house was packed by the end of the night.

The summer cabaret theater was first introduced in Santa Fe, New Mexico 37 years ago and has never been attempted in Albuquerque. The Flamenco cabaret is unique in that it is a concert, but in a blues or jazz-style setting. This historic event will last 7 straight days in the intimately situated 85-seat cabaret setting at Cosmo Tapas in Nob Hill. Cosmos has knocked down two main walls and renovated to accommodate for the concert-quality performance. The venue will provide the opportunity for some of the nation and world’s finest talent to be featured in an intimate setting over an extended time. Due to the limited seating, viewers are encouraged to purchase early tickets. Dinner and a drink are included with a ticket purchase.
