| Festival Description | The Rafi Peer Folk Puppet Festival presents 20 puppeteers from different parts of the country on a biennial schedule. The Festival has been organized to create awareness among the public about the dying art of puppetry through the workshop. About 150 folk puppets will be on display at the festival including a documentary, Puppetry in the Dark will be screened. It seeks to preserve puppetry which belonged to the ancient civilisation in Rajhistan. |
