| Festival Description | The Barcelona Dance Award is a Festival/Competition held in Barcelona, Spain. The main focus will be DANCE—Classical, Modern, Contemporary, Jazz, Hip Hop, Funky, Folk and all of the various interpretations of Theatre Dance Laboratories. About 1500 dancers from the five continents dance and compete in the big EU. Theatre space will be given to Schools and Dance Departements where students and guest artists will present one or more pieces of a performance or review which will compete for prizes in the various categories of the Barcelona Dance Award. Each group will have a detailed program with all the activities: the days involving dance competition and the days free from theatrical commitments. |

- EUROPEAN DANCE COMPETITION 2014 takes place at Easter spring holiday in Spain, The Competition/Showcases for emerging & established Dance Schools, Companies and Groups are from all over the world.
- All Divisions and Levels from Dance Schools/Groups are welcome including directors, choreographers, dancers, performing arts educators, teachers and arts managers. The events take place in Barcelona from April 17 - 21, 2014.
- It is necessary to complete the Registration Form and reserve your place. To receive the brochures and posters for the DANCE SEASON 2014 please email the organizer at europedance@email.it for details.
