| Festival Description | Spring Festival is a major multi-disciplinary art festival that will run simultaneously in Beirut and in Cairo during the whole month of May 2008. It is co-organized by “Culture Resource” in Egypt and “Shams Association” in Lebanon. Spring Festival’s sub-theme “Crossing Borders” aims at introducing to the Lebanese and Egyptian audience to a number of internationally well known singers, musicians, dancers, and writers from around the world. The theme expresses the ability of artists and writers to cross boundaries, not just in the political sense but also cultural and social boundaries.
