Festival Description

Venice Theatre, in Venice Florida hosts the International Theatre Festival. The company hosts approximately 10 theatre companies for performances in their native languages as well as workshops and a week-long panel discussion on color-blind, multi-cultural, diverse casting. The focus of the week; to take basic elements, both common and unique of various cultures in the idea of creating a ‘universal’ theare. We are seeking artists who are interested in sharing their insight and knowledge in whatever discipline/disciplines that might work with the focus of the festival. Participating artists will give 2 to 3 workshops to the festival participants with a focus on diverse, unique, multi-cultural, color-blind concepts. Performance/Technical/Educational is all included.
