Festival Description | Edmonton’s Labatt Blues Festival, a three day event of National and International Blues is held every August at the beautiful “Heritage Amphitheatre” in Edmonton Alberta Canada. The festival has been organized by Blues International Ltd. since 1998 with the express intention of giving Edmonton blues audiences an annual blues festival. Since its’ inception, Edmonton’s Labatt Blues Festival’s stage has been graced by Dr. John, Ike Turner, Charlie Musselwhite, Ronnie Earl, Shemekia Copeland, The Fabulous Thunderbirds and Marcia Ball, to name just a few. The festival showcases local, national and international blues talent in the scenic and intimate Heritage Amphitheatre located in Edmonton’s river valley. |
