Festival Description | The festival is a 5 day camping event set in the Mendip Hills. Music and entertainment are combined with everything you need to know about an eco-friendly lifestyle. Learn about sustainability and green crafts or just take time to relax in the healing fields. There is a Kids Field, Theatre and a Fairground all with a Green focus, and a line-up of folk, reggae, hip-hop and world music for the whole family. You’ll also find Permaculture and Horsedrawn areas, sheep shearing, demonstrations of Green building and Green energy, forums and workshops, all powered by sustainable energy. We have a dedicated Green Access and Mobility Area with extra facilities. The BGG began in 1994. It’s a medium sized event with a capacity of up to 20,000. |
