The festival will take place in the beautiful mountain resort village of Busteni, Romania and will present to its audience an exciting blend of artistic activities such as performances, recitals, screenings, lectures, as well as workshops and classes, art galleries and meetings with the participant artists.
The goal of Memento Vivere Festival, as an independent performing arts event, is to use art as a social and educational instrument by creating a bridge between artists everywhere and the communities in which they live — especially through our interactive activities aimed at attracting more people to the Arts. The two-day event will allow us to dedicate an entire day (outside of the festival) to the children of the area, mainly those with health related issues as well as those who live in less privileged circumstances and whom, otherwise, would not have access to such a wide array of cultural activities and social interaction.
Art blooms from the powerful source of Imagination, and, as Albert Einstein said — “Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.”
Memento Vivere Festival will celebrate life through arts under the auspices of the majestic Bucegi Mountains, while also making its presence known on the world wide stage of the Internet, reaching people of all walks of life, far, into every corner of the world. This is our modest way to add to the proof that art can and will cross all borders, touching people’s hearts and minds in ways that only the innocence of imagination can. We welcome you into our journey of dreams and we hope that you will join us, in body and in spirit, as the creation of a new oasis of art and culture unfolds. Remember Living!
